Senior Transportation Engineer/Planner

Iteris, Inc. leads the traffic management market in the development and application of advanced technologies that reduce traffic congestion, minimize environmental impact and improve the safety of our surface transportation system. This position will be responsible for conducting transportation/traffic planning studies, operational studies, preparing reports, managing small and medium projects and attending client meetings. Other responsibilities include supervising staff, assisting with proposal preparation and marketing. We’re seeking an individual who is also capable of managing and/or developing ITS plans, architectures and designs while working in a team environment to strategize marketing, manage work loads/schedules, complete transportation projects and contribute to the success of the office.

B.S. Degree in Civil and/or Transportation Engineering/Planning with 5 – 10 years experience in traffic operations, roadway design and/or planning experience required.
