AECI is hiring a senior principle construction manager to lead exciting projects in Libya.  This is a full time, long term position.  AECI seeks someone motivated to lead future projects both at home and abroad.

Manages

Project managers, construction managers and other AECI employees

 

Responsibilities

Provide overall management direction for existing and new projects.  Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.  Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendent or construction manager to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget.  Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Represent company in project meetings and assist in strategy meetings. Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.

 RequirementsExtensive (15 years +) experience/knowledge of construction, design, cost control and managementStrong contract writing and editing abilitiesExperience in Northern Africa or Middle EastPrimavera P5/P3 scheduling, reporting and progress planningAble to travel for extended periods of time

DesiredWork experience in LibyaArabic language skillsFour year engineering degree
