Senior Equipment Seismic Qualification Engineer
Our client, a major international firm, has the contract to design, build, and operate a very large chemical/nuclear processing plant near Augusta, GA. They are seeking an Equipment Seismic Qualification Engineer to implement equipment seismic qualification program procedures and specifications at the plant. The candidate must have a BS degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering and five years of experience in ESQ in the nuclear industry. He/She will perform technical reviews of vendor seismic qualification plans, calculations, and test documents. The successful candidate will have technical knowledge and understanding of seismic requirements by the NRC. He/She should have some familiarity with SQUG and SQRTS industry initiatives.
