Description
Atlanta based company, U.S. Cost a leading provider of Project Controls services to the A/E and Construction industry across the United States is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill key estimating and cost engineering positions. Senior Cost Estimator responsibilities will include: Preparing conceptual cost estimates from minimal information, such as a concept description or sketch. Preparing detailed cost estimates from partial and completed design documents. Evaluating / assisting in negotiations for designer and contractor proposals. Evaluating / assisting in negotiations designer and contractor claims.

Requirements
5 to 15 years experience in estimating multi-million dollar transportation, commercial, and industrial projects. Airport experience is preferred. Some experience with estimating software and databases is preferred. Computer skills are are essential including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.

The individual must be technically competent in his/her specific estimating discipline, as well as have a general knowledge of the other related disciplines. Must be highly motaivated and a self starter and able to identify and solve problems. Must be able to provide recommendations for solutions, communicate and work well with co-workers and client employees, and must be able to manage a group of estimators.
