Records Management Supervisor
Primary ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the development, approval and update of records management policies and procedures.Manage records staffFacilitate communication and implementation of record destruction based on the firm’s policy and the quick retrieval of records needed for discovery proceedings and regulatory audits.Assist other business units to retrieve records.Assist in records related software development implementation and administration.Identify and communicate requirements for enabling technology to support records management service delivery.DrawingsElectronic records managementWarehouse/vendor
Other ResponsibilitiesManage resources and online databasePrepare and administer annual budget utilizing cost efficient methods to retrieve documents.Review current technologies and apply the latest techniques of information storage and retrieval.Research and answer general records and archiving questionsCollection development and archiving of all recordsEffectively manage multiple tasks and identify priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experienceA Certified Records Management (CRM) certificate is preferredAt least 7 years professional experience in records management and/or a special subject library related to architecture, design, engineering or archive-settingProficient records searching skills Extensive compliance/retention knowledgeWorking knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office.Ability to work both independently and with others in a team environment.Demonstrate organizational and leadership skills.Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.MLS preferred
