PROJECT MANAGER INTERN

 

 

The Project Manager Intern supports the Project Manager and Project Team. The Project Manager Co-op reports to the Director of Project Management.  This position will either be located at GHAFARI Corporate Headquarters or at a client site to support ongoing A/E project work.

 Responsibilities

The Project Manager Intern will assist the Project Manager and the Project Team to help optimize project activities to contain cost, meet deadlines and satisfy Client’s expectations. Specifically, Project Manager Co-ops are responsible for:

 

· Assist in proposal preparation

· Assist in the communication of project scope, schedule and labor budgets

· Assist in defining and documenting project deliverablesAssist in the distribution of project deliverables to client and contractorsAssist in developing and communicating the project work plan.Assist in defining manpower and schedule requirements to the technical disciplines.Assist in managing the Client and the GHAFARI production team to assure that services, scope, quality and schedule expectations are aligned.Assist with notification to the Owner of all out of scope changes.Assist in the maintenance of Project Management databases Assist with ongoing department related activities

 Minimum QualificationsWorking towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong interpersonal skills.Leadership skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Software proficienciesWordExcelProject AccessVisio
