Robert Reid Wedding Architects and Planners, AIA, Inc. is a mid-size, 30-person firm with offices in Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Our 35-year old firm provides a high level of customer service oriented Architectural and Engineering services to Fortune 500 clients.  We specialize in prototype buildings and mixed use projects for the banking, financial, retail and automotive industries in the Southeast.  We also renovate and oversee adaptive re-use of structures for a variety of client users.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

We are seeking a Project Manager with strong Autocad abilities to join our Fort Lauderdale team.  The preferred candidate will have a degree in Architecture or a related field, and 2 - 5 years experience, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.   Assistant Project Manager applicants will also be considered for alternate positions.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS:

This is a hands-on, blended work position requiring a mature individual who: has good verbal and written communication skills, proficient computer skills, is a self-starter, will plan his/her work week, will create milestone schedules, has strong abilities to draft and design in Autocad, has ability to complete architectural designs and drawings under the direction of a Senior Project Manager or Managing Architect, and will oversee the construction administration process through site inspections and in concert with AIA documents practices.  has strong organizational skills and ability to track schedules & tasks to meet client timelines. is able to travel throughout the State of Florida.
