Responsibilities: Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for our Columbus, Ohio office Responsibilities will include; mentoring and training staff in project management methods, procedures and activities. Assessing project requirements, while developing and recommending a sound approach or application to meet the needs of the project and client. Ensuring that project deliverables satisfy project requirements and leading teams in the development of master project plans to accomplish project commitments and timing. The incumbant will determine, monitor and review costs, operational budgets, schedules and staffing requirements for project teams. This person will also manage and enhances project quality by providing ideas and suggestions to the team aimed at improving the effectiveness of their role, and of the project activities in general; establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria; performs other incidental and related duties as required; as well as manages client relationships and promotes repeat business. Qualifications: Qualified applicants should possess the following: BS in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Mgmt or a related field. Strong estimating, budgeting and scheduling skills. Comprehensive understanding and experience in managing each stage of the Design and Construction process. Knowledge and experience in CPM scheduling, Project Controls, Quality Assurance and Construction Coordination. CMAA certification, P3 experience a plus. Must be able to manage client expectations. Experience on independently leading a team in the implementation of all aspects of project management. Must be able to manage large and often multiple projects and participate in corporate initiatives to assist in meeting company goals.
