Benefits & Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 base salary + profit sharing, annual cash performance bonus, full covered medical, dental, vision, holidays, vacation, etc.

Our downtown Sacramento office is actively seeking a technically skilled and experienced Architectural Studio Leader / Architectural Studio Director to take on a Principal level role within our currently established Healthcare / Medical or K-12 & Higher Education project studios.

 

This extraordinary Senior Architect career opportunity requires:

 12+ years of architectural design, project management, contract preparation, consultant coordination, and client interaction skills and experience. Must have at least 5+ years of architectural project management experience and both the want and ability to take on a studio leader / studio director oriented. Senior Architect must have considerable Healthcare (OSHPD) or K-12 & Higher Education (DSA) project experience. Ideal candidates may posses a bachelors degree or higher in Architecture (preferred). Current registration as a Licensed Architect and LEED certification are strongly preferred.



Job responsibilities and expectations of this Architectural Studio Leader will include but are not limited to:

 

Staff Development:Mentors and Directs less experienced architectural staff (including Designer, Drafters, Job Captains, Project Managers) Takes part in providing annual staff performance reviews  Managing team & studio resources to effectively achieve firm objectives; while implementing best practices system for team. Supervises the adherence to office standards of design, quality control, and production. Reviews and provides document quality assurance for clients, consultants, and project teams. 

 Project Management:Will provide key decision making and direction for project team and studio Directs project in support of client expectations and goals. Review of project budget reports and client/consultant invoices.



Business Development:Develops proposals; participates in client interviews and development of marketing efforts. Leverages key industry contacts to develop leads and attain new clientele.
