Microstation Cad Technician/ Designer
Job Purpose:
Trotter and Associates, Inc. has developed an experienced team of professionals to meet the growing needs of our clients in northern Illinois. We are currently expanding our team and are seeking individuals with microstation experience.
This position will require an experienced professional with strong communication skills, an excellent work ethic and enjoys working in a team environment. The projects range from water/ wastewater treatment facility design to civil/ roadway design.
Duties include
Development of graphic exhibits for technical presenationsSurvey of existing field conditionsDevelopment of basefiles from as-built drawings and field measurements for existing structures, equipment and systemsDevelopment of site/civil/ structural and process drawings
Development of isometric, 2.5-D and 3-D piping drawings and structuresDevelopment of P&ID drawingsDevelopment of topographic and utility basefilesUse of GeoPak for development of surface models and well as for construction staking and layout
Working w/ engineers for the development of conceptual, preliminary and final design drawingsCoordination of drawings from sub-consultants including architectural, structural, mechanical and electricalRequired Skills:
5 years microstation experience, 2 years GeoPak experience, Microsoft office, KIP
