We want people who are hungry for both professional and personal growth; who will help us take our brands, our businesses and our community service to new heights; and who, with our support, will strive to reach their full potential.Job Responsibilities: This position manages architectural and design services for retail facilities operating as 5 PVH divisions, including prototype development and maintenance, due diligence, design development, supervision, proposal review, upholding corporate standards and procedures. Manages outside architectural and engineering consultants, and in house company resources, as required to facilitate assigned projects and meet company objectives. Provide leadership, promote professionalism and develop interdepartmental relationships while developing a strong team of planners to ensure the group is meeting or exceeding company goals; manage the cataloging of all design specifications, drawings, photos and archived plan information, etc. for company use. Develop, maintain and facilitate a timetable for all Construction Document projects, design project and layouts, surveys, permits, and engineering requirements provides by architects, consultants and in-house staff. Develop and maintain new store location project data on potential locations as provided by Real Estate. Assign or delegate appropriate complexity of planning and design projects to staff to ensure company goals are met or exceeded in the scheduled timeframe. Review Store Planning staff projects to maintain code requirements, sound engineering practices and company design standards. Research and communicate current code updates to maintain accurate and understandable guidelines for staff to follow. Oversee and/or produce the design and layout of special store-related projects, as designated by the Store Review Store Planning staff projects to ensure accurate plans that reflect the most current prototype and merchandising direction as notified by division Visual groups or other vendors. Assist in preparing preliminary design criteria for lease negotiations for Real Estate and Legal Departments. Coordinate with Internal Real Estate and Legal departments as well as outside landlords and developers, to communicate and obtain necessary real estate LOD and survey information. Review real estate plan documents/survey to ensure company design criteria and code compliance. Interact and develop professional relationships with all internal departments to achieve and insure accurate and timely design updates and corporate results. Develop relationships with all division Visual staff to maintain continuous flow of information to produce accurate plans, updates and results. Source, produce, communicate and implement design development concept drawings, fixture concepts and details for special projects. Develop and communicate design project with vendors, fixture suppliers, and consultants for new and existing projects. Prepare and present development concepts to division Visual Vice Presidents, Retail Group Presidents and Retail Group Chairman. Participate in development of project estimates and budgets for submission to division Presidents. Review department budget and professional fee budget for Store Design and Planning department.Job Requirements: 8 to 10 years experience with broad knowledge of architectural design, construction technology, project supervision of retail facilities, building and life safety codes, and general building permit requirements. Extensive retail design and construction experience of new stores, renovations and fixture development. Bachelors Degree or equivalent minimum BFA in Interior Design or Architecture. Excellent Presentation skills: oral, written and visual. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities of varying complexities. Strong space planning skills. Proficient current CAD experience. Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel. Prepare, present and distribute written and verbal reports, design projects, etc. for other dept members or executives.
