Responsibilities: Our growing Albany, New York office is actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Bio/Pharmaceuticals group in the design, planning, development, and construction administration of HVAC systems for large pharmaceutical projects. This successfully hired Mechanical Engineer, PE will become part of a highly skilled team of individuals working on bio/pharmaceutical production facilities and pilot plant and laboratory renovations. This position is responsible for leading and managing a mechanical engineering group, functioning as the lead engineer and overseeing the design of piping systems and HVAC, meeting with clients for upfront project planning, and project management for small to large pharmaceutical design projects. The incumbent must exhibit extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written; sound engineering/scientific problem-solving abilities; and a strong personal drive to be an outstanding team member. Qualifications: This position requires a self-motivated and innovative team player with good problem solving skills, practical knowledge and common sense. Must have bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline. and a P.E; as well as ten years of practical, working experience. Must have strong HVAC skills, knowledge of utility and process piping, plumbing, and fire protection.
