Mechanical Department Head

Evan Thomas Associates, Inc. is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

My client is a mid-sized MEP firm located in Charlotte, NC. They are a dynamic and rapidly growing firm who are committed to their employee’s well being and to the success of the team. They specialize in all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design specific to healthcare, multi-family, educational, and light industrial.

My client is seeking a highly qualified lead mechanical engineer to join their team. Candidates must have at least 10+ years of experience working with a consulting engineering firm.  Prior experience working with health care projects is highly desirable but not mandatory. A current NC PE license or the ability to obtain one right away is required.

The responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
Serving as the main point of contact to clients on high profile projects
Managing projects through their entire life cycle including budgeting and scheduling of projects and deadlines, conducting client meeting, and site visits
Supervising a team of engineers, designers, and drafters within the mechanical department
Quality control of mechanical drawings

Direct Hire
$90k - $125k Based on Experience
