Manufacturing Production Supervisor

National Signs, Ltd. is seeking experienced MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS for their Houston location.

 

Essential Duties of the Roles are:

  Direct production activity within section to optimize productivity with the resources available and meet project due dates according to production schedule, adhering to company policies and priorities. Coordinate and collaborate with other section supervisors and management to ensure that production goals are met. Take action to prevent work flow disruptions, and resolve people and process problems and delays as quickly and cost-effectively as possible without compromising safety or quality. Participate in the development and implementation of manufacturing methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems, improve efficiency and product quality, and reduce costs. Ensures the maintenance of a safe, clean work environment as well as the safety and health of employees. Ensure the production of a quality end product, executing Quality Assurance Inspections throughout stages of production.

Skills and Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent Associate degree or specialized training Desirable 5+ years supervisory experience in fabrication and assembly processes (working with plastics, metal, and wood) Must have a comprehensive understanding of fabrication and assembly technology, tools and machinery. Must be well organized, with good written and verbal communication skills. Must be computer literate (ERP experience is desirable) MUST HAVE PROVEN ABILITY TO LEAD PEOPLE
