Manager/Project Manager - Stationery and Gift

InScribe, the industry leader in personalized invitations and gifts, is seeking a full time manager/project manager for their busy design and marketing department.

 

Duties will include:• Manage and track the design, copywriting, approval, proofreading, timelines and production processes of all marketing and merchandising materials in a fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphere.

ʉۢ Lead in the development of new products from concept to completion of deliverables.

ʉۢ Work closely with the design and development team to ensure a project meets its goals and deadlines.

• Create project plans, identifying and managing changes in project scope and status.

• Lead/facilitate internal team meetings, work collaboratively with team members to monitor project status.

 

• Work with printers and other outside vendors, providing job specifications to obtain estimates as well as ensuring on-time delivery of finished materials.

• Review all prepress files before releasing to print vendors.

• The ideal candidate will have significant experience in graphic design and product development.Education and skills required:

• Experience within the gift and/or stationery industry strongly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years experience in a marketing or design department.

ʉۢ Proven project management skills and ability to motivate a variety of team members to meet project deadlines.

ʉۢ Exceptional organizational skills and ability to attend to detail.

ʉۢ Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; the ability to follow up and follow through.

ʉۢ Innovative, easy going and hard working; must be flexible to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities.

ʉۢ Must exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, positive attitude and poise; be articulate and confident.
