Job Summary:

 

Landscape Architect / Planner – Ecology and Environment, Inc. is a fully integrated environmental consulting firm whose underlying philosophy is its worldwide commitment to supporting sustainable development through responsible environmental stewardship.  We are seeking a Senior-level Landscape Architect / Planner for our Houston, TX office.

 

Responsibilities:Project management and client interfacePreparing NEPA documents and overseeing NEPA processProject PermittingAgency consultationConducting related community involvement programsProject management

 

Requirements:BS / MS degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources Planning or a related field 5+ years experience in land, urban, and regional planning and design with an emphasis on sustainability and green infrastructure, including one or more of the following focus areas: climate change adaptation and carbon reduction action planning, land use planning and growth management (including Smart Growth and New Urbanism practices and applications), NEPA analysis and documentation, visual resource assessment, watershed management planning, energy development siting, DoD facilities planning and AICUZ studiesCandidate must be capable of working independently and with multidisciplinary teams of individualsExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
