Job Description:  Position is immediately available in Yakima, Washington to support the Yakima Training Center Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) program. Provide necessary Land Restoration and Maintenance (LRAM) Coordinator support to assist YTC with land use and resource monitoring, and development and implementation of repair and maintenance plans. Support includes the identification, planning, design, programming, execution, and monitoring of LRAM activities at YTC.  The following actions are required in job performance:

 

Responsibilities:

·  Execute up to eight approved recurring projects In accordance with approved plans.

·  Maintain up to 25 spatial and tabular databases

·  Conduct one update of the annual LTAM report.

·  Two updated LRAM related protocols/management plans, up to 50 pages per plan (including text, maps, graphics, and appendices).

·  Maintain project flies for all active recurring projects.

·  Implement annual effectiveness monitoring and reporting for 50 sites.

·  Development one ITAM Field Crew Workplan.

·  Up to three oversight actions for each week Siber Stake maintenance occurs. 

·  Up to three JARPA packages prepared and submitted annually.

·  Up to six agency coordination actions for each permit package submitted annually.

·  Up to nine permits requirement incorporation actions annually.

·  Up to nine permit monitoring and reporting actions annually.

·  Rapid assessment and mapping shall be accomplished at designated sites. Protocols include GPS mapping, and documentation of field observations to derive rapid insight about extent and scope of areas where impacts occur. 

 

Educational Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess a degree and a minimum of two years experience conducting natural resources data collection, analysis, and reporting.
