Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For”, is seeking a Project Manager (College & University) for our Durham office located in an urban renovated warehouse space in the American Tobacco Historic District.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent client relationship and project management skills. The successful candidate will be able to develop project and process approaches, be responsible for architectural design development and overall design quality, fully develop construction documents, and possess the skills and desire to follow through on site with construction administration. Additional experience in coordination of engineering, site, and specialty consulting disciplines is also required. The individual selected should share a commitment to sustainability as a responsible business practice and approach to design. The project focus will be around the design of prisons, urban jails, courthouses, juvenile detention, work release, justice planning, police stations, and security consulting.
The individual selected for this opportunity will have 5+ years of experience, a professional architectural degree, and be a registered architect. Skills should include AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop proficiency, an interest in learning Revit, strong design skills, and effective communications skills. He/she will have proven experience in running projects, managing project teams, and keeping clients satisfied and projects profitable. Experience in higher education is required.
