Inside Sales Representative

Pantone, Inc., a world leader in color communication in the Meadowlands area in Carlstadt, New Jersey, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Inside Sales Representative in our sales organization.

 

Qualifications:Three+ years’ prior sales experience essential with a proven track record of strong sales growth and comfortable selling to key people at management levelsExperienced in identifying prospects, cold calling and customer relationship management are essentialConduct “warm� calling on an existing customer base to generate incremental salesExcellent computer skills — Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet navigationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccuracy, attention to detail and ability to proof one's own work; ability to work in a proactive manner to consistently deliver high-quality work.Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and carry multiple projects through to completionAbility to be tactful, maintain confidences, foster an ethical work environment and handle all situations honestly while doing whatever it takes to get the job doneStrong and pleasant telephone and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally with customers and co-workers on the phone and in personAbility to work in a team-based environmentAbility to work independently and able to prioritize workAbility to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected eventsAbility to maintain a mature, problem-solving approach; general knowledge of “how to get things done�Ability to seamlessly interface with clients and co-workers in a cooperative manner to build high morale; a strong belief in excellent customer serviceAbility to be open, honest and not afraid to share opinions/ideasAbility to “think outside of the box�Display high energy level, good sense of humor and be enthusiastic and diligent about workExperience in the graphic design, fashion, textile and/or home furnishings markets is desirable but not essentialCollege degree or equivalent work experience requiredBi-lingual - ability to read, write and speak fluent English and Spanish a plus
