Industrial Artist/Designer

Turner Licensing located in Modesto, California is seeking an experienced Industrial Artist/Designer who would contribute to product development in terms of technical and format design and construction. Responsibilities include designing POS materials for special product programs, develop fixtures and displays that ship complete to retail customers, and generate new product formats as assigned. This position would also require the artist to complete technical drawings and specifications for handoff to Production and Design groups as well as build prototypes and white bodied as needed, and to participate in ideation/product development sessions. Special creative assignments may be assigned as required. Additional duties include working with the Brand Manager on Marketing/PowerPoint presentations for sales team.

A qualified applicant should have at least 3 years of relevant retail, consumer products merchandising or display design experience, preferably in a related industry, highly detailed and accurate in the development of technical drawings and specifications. Individual must take initiative, be multi–task oriented, and function well as a member of the team. This individual must be able to function in a fast-paced design environment, and must be an excellent communicator.

Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and at least a two year degree in Graphic Art. Must have intermediate PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, Macintosh computer experience, fluent in Adobe Illustrator with Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
