Highway Program ManagerDescription: Looking for a position as a Program Manager? Volt is working with a client on Fort Worth with the Texas Transportation Programs unit looking to add a Program Manager to their growing team. The primary responsibilities for this role will include: Providing guidance and assistance on local projects and project management for large ($200 million +) transportation infrastructure projects, procedures, engineering, applications and requirements. Planning, directing and coordinating activities for transportation design team members (PE's, EIT's, Designers and CADD technicians) to ensure quality, budget and schedule goals are met. Coordinating/overseeing construction management program. Reviewing programmatic and procedural deficiencies found with local agency projects. Making final engineering decisions for more complex or controversial projects as required. Attending regional meetings with associations and agencies. Assisting local agencies to execute state/local agency assistance funding agreements. Providing staff supervision. Participating in liaison activities with TxDOT and other local and federal agencies. Acting as Program Manager for select projects.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements: Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering (Transportation) is required, a Master's Degree would be a plus. Must have a current PE license in Texas. 15 to 20 years engineering experience in transportation, of which at least 10 years should have been in management capacity. Experience in transportation planning, engineering, understanding of agency processes and funding in Texas.
