Full time Application Developer position for a large, financially stable, international engineering firm
Skills
Experience managing technical projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle including Analysis, Design, Coding and Testing
Requirements Documentation and Systems Design experience is required
3 or more years of computer programming work experience
1 or more years .NET Programming (C# or VB) experience
Experience reading, debugging and modifying both C# and VB.NET code
ASP.NET Development experience
GIS (Geographic Information Systems) experience and experience developing GIS Desktop and/or GIS Web Applications using .NET and/or Java
Specific knowledge and development of ESRI's ArcGIS Server
C++ and/or Java development is beneficial
Qualifications
Real world application development skills (non-academic)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred
Ability to solve complex application development problems in a fast paced environment
Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment are a must
Successful candidates will have an energetic and positive attitude toward working with multiple clients on a wide-range of environmental projects
Accountabilities
Manage and execute projects including budgets and schedules from inception to closure
Provide technical guidance to a project team
Provide technical writing to support proposal efforts and project documentation
Prepare project proposals and conduct client presentations
