JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FIELD TECHNICIANSÂ
Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
Â
¨      Perform Field Work in a satisfactory or better manner. Field Work includes but is not limited to:
Â
·        Installation of monitors within sewer lines
·        Collection of data and review for accuracy
·        Monitor troubleshooting and make repairs
·        Manhole inspection
·        Conduct flow isolations, smoke testing, dye water flooding, and site inspection
·        Hydraulic calibration
Â
¨      Maintain accurate, legible, and organized records.Â
Â
¨      Maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safety, mechanical soundness, and productive operation.
Â
¨      Adhere to OSHA and CSL safety policies and procedures.
Â
¨      Punctual and regular attendance.
Â
¨      Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Operations Manager from time to time.
Â
Essential Skills:
Â
¨      Good mechanical skills.
¨      Basic computer skills.
¨      Ability and willingness to work outdoors during all seasons.
¨      Physical and cognitive ability necessary to do confined space entry and perform rescue operations when necessary.
¨      Ability to function in a team environment.
¨      Must be willing to work in the physical conditions present in a sewer.
