Electrical Field Engineer
Due to growth, DLB Associates Consulting Engineers with headquarters in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated Electrical Field Engineer. This position requires full time travel to our construction sites in the South East. For over 20 years, dlb has differentiated its services from that of its competition by utilizing an approach that "Translates Needs Into Solutions". We offer full service Engineering Management and Construction services in the US and abroad.
The Electrical Field Engineer will be the senior level electrical professional who will work closely with the management team on large sites.
This dynamic position will have the following responsibilities:
Electrical inspection (QA/QC) team leaderProgress and other report writingContinuous site observationReview schedules and cost estimatesOngoing client interface about project progressDaily interaction with management teamProactive problem identification and resolutionConformance to design documentsCoordination and verification of asbuiltsAHJ interfaceCommissioningCoordination and review of shop drawings
The ideal candidate must have the following:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
· A minimum of 10 years combined power system design and field experience on large electrical projects.
· The ability to travel nationally (required). The ability to travel internationally (preferred).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as computer proficiency including MS Office Suite.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
