Our team members are passionate about resource renewal and sustainability, and apply both knowledge and technology to deliver life cycle solutions for both public and private sector clients. We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage. Responsibilities: We have a new opportunity for a motivated Electrical Designer (Intermediate) to become part of a growing business, providing professional services to our clients in the Environmental Infrastructure market. You will work under the supervision of an Electrical Engineer, in support of the project managers and will be responsible for the planning and designing of projects, field observations, construction reviews, report preparation and drawing reviews, while ensuring that the client needs are being met in a timely and effective manner. A strong interest in understanding and application of specific codes and practices for classified area as related to U.L. and the National Electrical Code is desirable. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of electrical design experience, preferably in industrial or facility design institutional projects for public and private sector clients: Previous experience in the design of low voltage distribution systems, field device(s) data and communication including radio systems. Experience working with AutoCAD 2005 or higher.Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills while working in a team environment. Good writing skills for reports and various documentation.Some knowledge working with the National Electrical Codes. Basic understanding of the Programmable Logic Controllers and related communications.
