E-Rate Specialist

Summary: The E-Rate Specialist will be responsible for all phases of the E-Rate Application Process for assigned group of clients. Requirements: Bachelor¡¦s degree from a four-year college or university or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with MS Word and Excel required. Familiarity with the E-Rate program or MS Access a plus. Job Responsibilities: -Complete all E-Rate Forms prior to their deadlines. -Coordinate with clients, vendors, the Schools & Libraries Division, etc. to gather information and resolve problems. -Research missing reimbursements. -Track all related data and correspondence. -Review relevant websites on a daily basis for program updates. -Provide continuous support to all clients. -Complete various project assignments that occur during the growth and development of Thomas Communications & Technologies. -Develop new ways to improve existing procedures. This includes creative thinking in order to discover ways to save time, money, etc. -Complete additional duties as directed by supervisor. Experience Requirements: Accustomed to Executive level client contact via the phone, accustomed to work environment with critical deadlines for task completion, accustomed to work environment requiring high levels of organization, accuracy, and thoroughness in working with client application and reimbursement data Skills Requirements: High level organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, systems oriented, detail oriented, good verbal skills, and problem analysis and resolution.
