Director of Mechanical Engineering
Fiskaa Engineering is seeking a Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead the Mechanical Engineering Group. This role requires an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years in the design of building systems for commercial and residential projects.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES: Engineers projects, prepares due diligence and feasibility reports and specifications, and provides a high level of technical leadership to the mechanical engineering staff. Provides leadership to engineers as they perform calculations necessary for the preparation of drawings, design and layout of engineering systems, selection and specification of equipment and performance of technical analysis. Reviews deliverables prepared by the mechanical engineering staff to ensure project documents are complete and technically correct. Manages the efforts of the mechanical engineering group in terms of staffing and scheduling. Interfaces with clients and attends meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor degree from an accredited university in a mechanical discipline.
10+ years relevant experience in the mechanical engineering field.
