The responsibilities of a Director I, O & M include, but are not limited to:Utilizes insight and experience by providing recommendations on strategy, best practices and other operational issues Ensures best practices by implementing and sustaining processes and systems including: planning and scheduling, materials management, change management, O&M Technology tools and resources Supports business development opportunities by assessing client financial and operational capabilities, suggesting revisions to client / alliance work methods, project / program processes, facility layout and /or machinery, tools and equipment Maintains client relationships by regular communication to better understand project operations, this communication should; appraise of Fluor activities, advise of potential improvements, assess changing needs, develop teamwork and ask for client feedback on performance Applies appropriate analytical tools and techniques by assessing client organizations, acquiring client engagements with significant profitability potential and transforming the client organization from the current state to the proposed future state Fulfills contract and OSR/OSIP requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the Fluor team Achieves business goals by hiring qualified candidates, communicating job expectations; approving performance appraisals; conducting salary administration, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees  ***This position is a potential opening and is contingent upon project award***Requirements 12-20 years construction management experience plus 3+ years experience managing medium to large complex contracts Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering / Business) Coal fired power plant experience required Candidate must be willing to travel frequently as required Fluor values the contributions of a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.Join our team today!
