Carl Walker, Inc is a structural engineering firm that specializes in parking consulting, new parking structure design, restoration engineering and management consulting.

Design Technician
The position is for someone with a CADD background. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the use of AutoCad for multi-level building/architectural design.

Key Duties and Responsibilities



1.  Prepares engineering drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information using CADD software programs

2.  Revises or changes drawings, traces and/or copies existing drawings and completes calculations.


3.  Understands and follows the company’s standard CADD procedures for layering and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout

4.  Develops solutions to computer problems

5.  Maintains schedules and offers progress reports

6.  Maintains neat and orderly work area, which will allow other team member to access  project information.
