Due to the continued growth of Loiederman Soltesz Associates (LSA), we currently have an exciting opportunity in our corporate headquarters for a Director of Business Development; someone seeking a career in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. With over 275 professionals in a variety of disciplines in six offices, our full-service civil engineering firm will encourage you to use your creativity and originality to develop innovative presentations, initiate and establish strong, positive relations with local, regional and national clientele throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

You will be responsible for and have control to:
· Evaluate campaigns for effectiveness and implement changes and improvements to broaden our penetration of the applicable market sectors; observe impacting trends and make recommendations to enhance the firm’s image on the basis of those trends
· Understand and implement corporate standards in regards to marketing and proposals
· Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key clientele and industry representatives, organizations and companies in the market sectors serviced by the office
· Manage a business development team responsible for identifying, attracting, and retaining new and current clientele
· Oversee activities related to public relations, direct mail, tradeshows, publishing and special events and develop a qualified and applicable approach for proposal and presentation functions
· Establish, implement and maintain the business development budget and business development plan
· Manage internal and external communication in relation to branding, public relations and advertising; initiate customer feedback on proposals and presentations
· Analyze statistics to determine service potential and monitor clientele preferences
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree or other advanced education is a plus
· Professional expertise demonstrated through 10+ years of industry related experience within the architecture/engineering/design industry
· Strong leadership and self-motivation skills and abilities
· Demonstrated ability to effectively and persuasively communicate and promote ideas and campaigns to clientele, business representatives and company personnel
· Demonstrates ability to promote and establish teamwork and individual leadership within business development department and develop creative and original marketing campaigns
· Strong with use of Microsoft Office applications; experience with Deltek Vision CRM is a plus
· Excellent time management and organization skills; ability to multi-task
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
