This position will work in the VA/MD market area and report to the Discrict offices in Charlotte, NC.General duties of this Commercial Outside Sales Manager position will entail the following: Develop and implement a sales plan for the territory sufficient to achieve sales goals and the acquisition targets. Call on specifying Engineers and Architects to ensure Lennox products are specified. Develop relationships with the customer base to ensure achievement of sales volume, gross profit and margin targets. Prepare quotes, submittals and sales orders as required. Work with Customer Financial Services to resolve all credit issues. Work with inside sales personnel on product applications. Individual will also perform the following duties: provide customer service to ensure understanding of the complete and full range of Lennox products and services; deliver a high level of customer service to existing accounts and identify changing trends in the marketplace; and provide timely quotations, sales presentations and customer training to ensure attainment of the annual sales, gross profit and margin goal. Individual must have the ability to work with little direct supervision while at the same time act and function as a member of the overall sales team. Must have mechanical aptitude. Individual must also have computer knowledge [Word, Excel, Windows, and PowerPoint). Other essential duties include: Extensive automotive travel to contractor sites. Lifting of boxes and training materials, at times to exceed 50 pounds. Some overnight travel required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required, with at least 3 years HVAC sales experience preferably in Commercial Construction. A commitment to continued personal and professional growth is important. Position requires strong goal orientation, active listening and ability to multi-task and work independently. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Strong team orientation and driven to achieve sales and corporate goals. Must be capable of demonstrating the entire product line and committed to bringing value to customers. Consistency in developing customer relationships. Able to design and execute a business plan for territory.  Ability to understand technical concepts. Must always prospect for new customers; enjoys interaction with other people and can build business relationships. Negotiating skills. Goal oriented.
