Civil Engineer

 

The Civil Engineer is required to perform specific project design and development tasks, including drawings, calculations, cost estimates and specifications, respond to clients’ questions and comments, review contractor submittals and provide clarifications during construction. This position is also responsible for planning, permitting, and designing, site development, utility systems, roadways and other infrastructure components for government, institutional, commercial, airports and transportation related projects.

 

-Minimum 2 to 4 years experience, preferably in consulting environment, with project experience in site or roadway design.

-Possess good organization and communication skills

-Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or have the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.

-Minimum a BS Degree in Civil Engineering.

-Proficiency using AutoCAD and/or Microstation required; experience using MS Office programs, knowledge of site and utility system design software proffered.

-Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
