CAD Drafter
K2 Pure Solutions is seeking a CAD Operator. A vibrant and entrepreneurial company established in response to the growing demand by government and industry to reduce the need to transport certain hazardous chemicals, K2 Pure Solutions is deploying a North America wide network of state-of-the-art, vertically integrated, membrane cell chlor-alkali facilities utilizing inherently safer technology.
Reporting to K2’s Director of Engineering; candidates are expected to have a diploma from an accredited Technical school and a minimum of 3 years work experience in operating Computer Aided Design systems. Experience in the chemical industry is desired and proficiency with AutoCad 2008/2009 is required while experience with AutoCad P&ID is a definite benefits. The position would be located at K2 Pure’s Akron, Ohio office.
Responsibilities will include:
 Preparing CAD drawings for engineers; drawings include Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), layout drawings, elevation drawings, piping drawings, instrumentation drawings (loop drawings, etc.), electrical drawings (MCC drawings, single line diagrams, etc.), and other drawings as needed.
