Business Development Coordinator

We provide comprehensive services for building and infrastructure development and for protection and restoration of the natural environment from 20 regional offices. HSMM is searching for a Business Development Coordinator to assist with Charlotte Region marketing efforts. Job responsibilities will be to: Research and identify new project opportunities. Prepare responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Prepare interview presentation materials. Update and maintain employee resumes and registration information. Provide assistance to the Regional Manager and Business Development Manager in their daily business development activities. Assist Project Managers and technical staff in preparing/updating project narratives. Work with Construction Administration Department to capture schedule and budget data relevant to marketing efforts. Assist with PR activities for Charlotte Region. Coordinate with and assist other Division BD personnel. Support and coordination of trade shows and outside marketing events. Conduct market research. Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager. Job Requirements: 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, English or other similar relevant field. At least 2 years of business development/marketing experience. Extensive experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) . Experience preparing A/E/C industry proposals. Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong planning and prioritizing abilities. Ability to interface well with clients, consultants, and staff. Limited travel as required to meet project and training requirements. Strong graphics background preferable. Experience in the A/E/C industry. Flexibility in schedule to allow occasional overtime. EEO M/F/D/VBusiness development for A/E firm.
