Position Summary:
This position requires direct communication and involvement with the Engineering Manager and management staff of SAS Automation on all aspects of engineering. The position may require overnight travel in and out of the state or country. The job holds ultimate responsibility in dealing with customers on a “one-on-one” basis and making decisions that directly affect the company. The position is responsible for offering support in tasks such as but not limited to installations, assembly, training and phone communications with prospective and current customers. The person in this position is expected to promote and be knowledgeable of SAS Automation products and services. It is required that the incumbent promote effective interactions and communications with other SAS departments and provide the necessary interaction with Engineering, Production and Sales departments. Incumbent should participate as a SAS Automation Team player.
Requirements:2-year ME or AE degree and 5 years experience in related industry. Experience in the latest versions of AutoCAD/Inventor software. Previous experience in robotics/automation/cell design preferred Ability to read blue prints Good organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks of job independently. Excellent communication skills. Must be willing to meet quality and attendance standards.
