Provide accurate and thorough support for the range of Project Manager activities - from filing through permits - to ensure continuity and satisfaction. In this role, you will: review new job orders, gather job information, prepare and review paperwork for submission, follow up on paperwork/plans, and track jobs on various Building Department Web sites. In addition, this Assistant will prepare fax sheets for Expediters, schedule appointments with Examiners, distribute approval packages, maintain the to-do list, initiate invoicing and provide information to and follow up with clients.

To qualify, you will need communication, problem-solving, organizational, project management and computer skills, especially with MS Office applications. You must have strong initiative, a desire to learn, an Associate's degree or equivalent education, and one year of comparable experience. Familiarity with filings and the construction industry as well as an ability to quickly learn computer programs is helpful.
