This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Description Maximize USG's short and long term growth in sales volume, gross profit and industry position, with a particular focus on the ceilings business. Proactively develop relationships with architects, interior designers, spec writers, owners, construction managers and general contractors to increase preference and demand for USG products and systems. Network within the industry. Actively track projects in the early stages to influence the specification. Maintain and update a detailed list of projects where USG is specified and share with the field sales team. Communicate and collaborate within the AS team and other USG departments and divisions. Support local field sales team and distribution partners. Team play is essential. Launch and promote target products and programs. Monitor competitive activity and strategically promote USG's offering. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Design or business related field. Minimum of 2 year selling experience in A/E/C industry, emphasis in Architectural selling. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. This position requires a high energy level and superior relationship building skills. Self starter with peak organizational and problem solving skills. Strong communication, presentation and networking skills.
