Architect CL2 (27UC4028)
The University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for an Architect CL2. The qualified candidate will provide professional architectural services for programming, design and construction management for capital projects and renovation of University buildings and facilities ranging up to $2 million. Work independently on moderately complex projects and problems.
Min. Quals.: Bachelors degree in Architecture. At least 5 years design/planning experience required. Physical dexterity such as climbing ladders, scaffolds, and irregular terrain, etc. is required to inspect the building construction sites. Skills include experience in designing projects using AutoCAD. Knowledge of applicable codes and zoning ordinances, and development and management of technical drawings and specifications to bid and construct projects, etc. Ability to monitor construction work progress and to assure compliance with schedules, standards, codes, specifications, OSHA and quality assurance. Must possess good communication skills.
