If you are interested in joining a team of experienced engineers creating advanced Diesel and Gasoline engine designs to address future performance, fuel economy and emissions requirements, FEV is where you want to be.Position Responsibilities:Personnel Management Manage the personnel of a specified group (Technical Specialists, Engineers and CAD designers) Set day to day personnel direction Establish short and long term goals for employee development Conduct performance evaluations Participate in the hiring process of new employeesTechnical Project Management Lead multiple powertrain projects Provide engineering technical guidance and providing project leadership to the design team Serve as main design engineering contact for internal and external customers Respponsible for interpretation of customer’s technical requirements Prepare technical proposals Establish the team structure Summarize project status Track project financials Ensure successful completion of the final deliverablesContinuous Improvement Ensure FEV design tools and processes are state of the art Assess the needs of current and future programs Determine CAD tools, simulation tools and other engineering toolsAssess internal processes and procedures to ensure highest quality of workQualifications:BSME minimum, MS in engineering preferred A strong, creative and dynamic personality Both research and production engine design experience required Heavy theoretical knowledge of the Internal Combustion Engine Experience in various types of powertrains a plus Demonstrated leadership and project management skills Exceptional customer communication and presentation skills 10 years minimum experience in related positions Position requires US Citizenship or Permanent US Residency For more detailed information regarding FEV, Inc. feel free to visit our web site at www.fev.com EOE, M/F/V/D Click here to apply Company: FEV, Inc.
