NEW ENGLAND Apple Council is recruiting workers for agricultural crop work, the names and location of each member of the association can be obtained through the VT Department of Labor. Jobs starting next month to end of harvest. 40 plus hr week, May perform any combination of tasks related to the planting, cultivation, harvesting and processing of fruits, vegetables, field crops and horticultural crops including but not limited to preparing soil and growth media, planting, pruning, weeding, thinning, spraying, mowing, harvesting, grading and packing. May require experience. Some jobs require driving. Work tools, supplies, equipment provided without cost to worker. Housing will be available without cost to workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of the work day. Transportation reimbursement and subsistence is provided upon completion of 15 days or 50% of the work contract. Work is guaranteed for 3/4 of the workdays during the contract period. $9.70 hr.
