A Workplanner is responsible for tree and brush inventories, hazard tree inspection & evaluation, tree contractor work planning, data management, and contact with private property owners / public agencies regarding planned pruning and/or removals. Overall work planning and coordination of permits or other regulatory requirements necessitates that a Workplanner have frequent contact with utility employees, line clearance contractors, and public agencies. Most work is performed independently at various field locations. Locations within a region vary from urban sites, rural regions, and remote areas within rugged terrain.
