Welding Engineer
Welding Engineer needed for a world leader in heavy off-the-road vehicle manufacturing in Northeast Iowa. Candidates must have completed a 4 year degree in Welding Engineering from an accredited college or university. However, other engineering degrees will be considered if they are supported by the following relevant work experiences:
Required Skills and Experience:
· 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
· Robotic welding/programming experience.
· Tooling/fixturing experience.
Experience with problem solving and working in a team environment.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
· Desired Skills and Experience
· Work experience in a union environment.
· CI and 5S involvement.
· Knowledge of capital budgeting and capital equipment justification process.
