Operating 17 branches in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia, we are the premier provider of arboricultural services in the Northeast. Join our team of highly dedicated professionals and be totally focused on providing quality, customized services to our clients! Currently, we are recruiting for (5) Tree Climbers for our Mamaroneck, NY location.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the performance of specialized pruning and takedowns, installing cabling and bracing, safely operating equipment (chainsaw, chipper, trucks, hand tools)
• Utilize knowledge of compartmentalization and other concepts related to tree wounding/pruning
• Be able to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics
• Maintain excellent client relations and provide thorough information to clients
Applicable experience preferred:
• Proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
• Chain saw safety and operation
• Tree climbing
• Bucket truck operation
• CDL
