Supervisor, Accounting (Inventory)

We are currently seeking a Supervisor, Accounting (Inventory) for our Riverview, FL location.  This position will be responsible to supervise/train inventory control employees to ensure proper reconciliation of physical to book inventories for Mosaic’s business. This person will also be responsible for the approval of monthly inventory reconciliations and inventory adjustments.  This role will facilitate/coordinate monthly inventory costing from production plants in preparation of inventory revaluation.  This position will also facilitate/coordinate communication with other Mosaic functional groups (Ship/Rec, Warehousing, Production, Etc.) and external customers/suppliers (Barge lines, Warehouses, Contractors, Etc.).  This person will maintain Sarbanes Oxley standards at all times. This role will deal with internal and external auditors (KPMG, PWC, Etc.). This person will work with Inventory Control Mgr. to establish inventory policies/procedures and monitor to ensure compliance with those policies/procedures. 

 

Principle Accountabilities:

 

· Supervise/Train inventory control employees.

· Approval of monthly inventory reconciliations and inventory adjustments.

Required Education, Experience, Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance, Accounting or Business is preferred.6+ years experience working in an accounting/inventory related field is preferred.Strong supervisory skills.Demonstrated problem solving skills.Knowledge of Auditing/Sarbanes Oxley standards.Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage time appropriately.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Good Knowledge of Mosaic’s inventory costing policies.Strong Microsoft Office skills (word, excel, etc.).  Experience/knowledge of SAP and OIS required.
