Senior Designer/Design Engineer - Structural

Entegee is a growing company that tackles the engineering challenges associated with product design, engineering, analysis, modeling and drafting services. We're looking for an experienced, energetic designer or engineer to work on heavy equipment design.

 

Essential Job Functions:

* Qualified applicant must prepare clear, complete, & accurate designs/plans/models/drawings from sketches/verbal instructions &/or notes

* Reviews and analyzes specifications & reference information to assess factors affecting designs

* Calculates stresses & defections in parts or systems & optimize designs

* Creates Specifies complex GD&T schemes & applies symbols to models / drawings

* Creates highly complex part & assembly models (logically ordered, easily modified, use appropriate features / constraints, reflect design intent)

* Demonstrates ability to identify when there are problems with a design or supporting calculations

 

 Qualifications:

* BS Mechanical Engineering (or Associates & 1year/work experience equivalent)

* Minimum 3 years industry experience required

* Experience in designing heavy equipment a plus

* Pro/Engineer experience 

* Experience with steel structures frames/weldments/castings/plastics/mechanisms

* Good understanding of basic engineering principles and theory

(stress & strain, bolted joints, etc.) required
