Senior Accountant
for Larson Acres, a family-owned, southern Wisconsin dairy production business.
Â
An established and growing business seeks a highly motivated individual to provide accurate and timely financial statements. These statements will provide the basis for communication with ownership and management as well as external stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory tracking, deposit operations, account reconciliation and budgeting. Candidate will report directly to owners and seek to become a valuable member of the management team.

The following knowledge, skills and experience will be required of the successful candidate:
Â
1.     Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field;
2.     Minimum of 3 years of previous accounting experience – preferably agriculturally related;
3.     Thorough knowledge of double entry, accrual and cash accounting principles;
4.     Proficiency with all principles of financial accounting software (double entry accounting), payroll software, and Microsoft Office Software;
5.     Self directed;
6.     Strong communication skills both verbal and written; and
7.     Honesty and unquestionable integrity;
8.     Local candidates preferred.
