We are responsible for over 1 Billion in revenue and are a division of ServiceMaster, a Fortune 500 conglomerate. POSITION OBJECTIVES The Branch Lawn or Horticulture production specialist is responsible for making timely applications, diagnosing and correcting landscape problems through service calls or other customer communication, confirming base customers, and up selling where appropriate. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESLAWN/HORTICULTURE APPLICATIONSApplies fertilizers and other products to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Maintain company truck, spraying unit, hand sprayer, and dry spreader as needed through daily use. Measure lawn/horticulture areas where needed to up sell, sell, or adjust customer application price. Determine types of materials needed for use and load onto the truck where appropriate. Calibrate equipment for correct use of fertilizer/pesticides according to label instructions and safety  guidelines. Complete customer invoices with appropriate note and instructions according to state guidelines.DAILY ROUTE ORGANIZATION/MAPPINGComplete production report, sales forms, customer invoices, daily inspection, program change form, account cancels, vehicle inspection, and other forms deemed pertinent to job completion. Determine quantity of fertilizer, liquid and dry, for daily use using lawn square footage. Map out residential and or commercial stops using a map to determine most efficient means of completion. Call customers who desire a pre-notification on their program prior to an application. Maintain literature in company truck according to applications being performed through out the year.   MAINTAIN ROUTE SERVICE STANDARDSComplete service calls through landscape diagnosis and written notes to minimize account cancellations. Consult corporate database to answer customer concerns/questions on a regular basis. Return phone messages from clients on a regular basis. Schedule appointments and meet with customer as needed when required to resolve service issues.
