Repack Supervisor (Peppers & Tomato)

Purpose of Position:

To assist managers in the production, receiving, inventory areas and assist in the supervision of the Food Safety, and Quality Assurance Programs.  This position will also help managers in controlling overtime, receiving, quality control, inventory and production issues.  They will be the extension of the Managers to help in the overall daily operations.  This enables more managerial coverage to reduce operation issues and increase customer satisfaction.



Accountabilities:

Assist with overtime, headcount, productivity and quality controls. Manage production for on time order completion, maintain open line of communication with Managers regarding ongoing operations and personnel issues.  Maintain a safe work place according to safety and health regulations, as well as company policies and guidelines. Partner with the Quality Assurance and Sanitation Departments to ensure that all areas are in compliance. 



Minimum Requirements:

Some college

2+ years supervisory experience

Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)

Good communication skills

Ability to multi-task and be goal-oriented



Preferred but not Essential:

Previous produce handling experience

Previous production and processing experience

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
