QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

The Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager) will coordinate the activities of subordinates in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the company. QA Manager will oversee department affairs in accordance with company policies, programs and procedures. QA Manager will evaluate analytical records, logs and customer reports to determine conformance of products, processes, ingredients and packaging materials to program standards.  QA Manager will give final authority for release of product for sale or withhold product for distribution.  QA Manager will develop and maintain productive working relationships with Plant Operations to effectively deal with quality matters.  QA Manager will provide departmental leadership to ensure proper training and technical knowledge on quality matters to subordinates.  QA Manager will ensure subordinates are making sound judgement in quality matters and are properly enforcing specifications and using quality assurance authority effectively and judiciously.  QA Manager will have sole responsibility of determining the compliance of quality projects.  QA Manager will coordinate activities with Purchasing, Graphics and Marketing in order to certify vendors as to specifications and ability to run materials.  QA Manager must have strong organizational as well as communication skills.  Must have experience in ISO 9002, auditing and Juice HAACP knowledge.  Bachelor's degree is required as well.
