Office Manager

Overview:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform a wide variety of administrative functions, along with the ability to interact and work as a team on a professional level with internal and external clients.

 

Essential Functions:Provide administrative support, including scheduling and travel arrangements, to the Vice-President of Government Affairs and additional members of the staffMaintain confidentiality of matters and issues within the departmentPerform office management responsibilities including invoice processing and maintaining the financial records of the departmentEstablish and maintain informational databasesPrepare and file as necessary lobbying and political action committee reportsMaintain files as directed and in accordance with company policies

 

Skill/Experience Requirements:Associate's degree preferredMinimum of ten years experience in an administrative support role within a legal, communications, government affairs department or similar professional environment Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerpointStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organizationSelf-starter with the ability to multi-task
